Phase 2, Finally!

One more small hiccup in our homestudy--John and I had to change our wording on the disciplining section...get this...because spanking is illegal in California! OK, no problem. John did a great job of rewording it to be truthful about our views on discipline, yet safe for approval. (And, again, I suppose these obstacles are in my path so that I continue to think through my philosophies, and perhaps it is good for me to reevaluate what I always thought is the "right" way to raise children.)
OK, that being done, we finally got word yesterday that our homestudy is good to go and being sent TODAY from Tennessee to California! Which means we are now officially in stage two of the adoption: Matching Phase. Now....we wait...some more. Beginning to pray more seriously about the genetic family we are to be matched with...where are they? Where are the embryos now? How many are there? Who are they? Who will they be? When will this all happen? For now, I can't do anything, but pray and wait.
